My name is Tapas Dwivedi, and I am a Relationship Counsellor based in Berlin, Germany. I support couples and individuals in growing through their conflicts and developing stronger, happier relationships.
 

During my 20s and early 30s, I struggled with recurring conflicts in my relationships and would often see intimacy fade over time. I believed that this was simply how relationships were meant to be.
 

Before moving into this work, I spent 16 years in Tech and Product Management, where I helped stakeholders from different teams—often disconnected and working in silos—learn to understand each other, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and collaborate effectively. I saw how much more people could accomplish when they were aligned and connected. At the same time, this made me reflect on my own close relationships, where I often felt a lack of that same connection and fulfilment.
 

However, after working with some excellent individual and couples therapists, I came to understand that I had built an emotional wall as a result of my own past heartbreak. Over time, I learned to move beyond that wall, develop new relational skills, and become better equipped for the needs of a modern relationship.
 

This work transformed me as a person, and today I feel more connected to my partner, friends, and family than ever before. It motivated me to start a new career in relational coaching and share this learning with fellow travellers who may be struggling as I once did.
 

I am originally from India and I live in Berlin, Germany with my partner and a little cat.
